Publisher Description
Yogabulary is a comprehensive yoga asana vocabulary building flashcard app for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. 220 flashcards cover all the terms that make up the names of common yoga poses, as well as, most of the more esoteric ones!
Please note that the cards contain the component terms, not the full names of the postures. For example, there is a "bheka" (frog) card, and an "asana" (pose) card but not a "bhekasana" card.
Conveniently organized into categories for your study; you may further customize your lessons by removing unwanted flashcards. Each Sanskrit term is rendered in: the original Devanagari, standard transliteration, and commonly spelled variations. A layperson's pronunciation guide is provided, along with a recording of the correct pronunciation.
Yogabulary is a valuable tool for learning your yoga pose vocabulary!
Requires iOS 5.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
